This study deduced maximum yield of Polyurethane (PU) pyrolysis solid product and optimum condition having high iodine number into Central Composite Design (CCD) used on secondary model in Response Surface Methodology (RSM). Temperature, heating rate and pyrolysis time, which were factors influencing solid products yield produced by PU pyrolysis, satisfied significance probability so that all of them were identified as the significant factors. Among them, temperature was the most sensitive factor for iodine number and solid yield. For the result of CCD, the best iodine condition is that temperature is 350℃, heating rate is 10℃/min and pyrolysis time is 4 minutes. After pyrolysis experiment was operated with this condition, the iodine number was improved from 582mg/g to 11mg/g compared to the result of 17 times of experimental condition. |
