Preparation and Characterization of Poly(phenylene oxide) Modified Epoxy Resin Systems |

Poly(phenylene oxide) (PPO) modified epoxy resin systems were specifically prepared and characterized in various ways. PPO was used to order to improve mainly the dielectric property of epoxy resin systems which are used as a matrix resin of printed circuit board for electronic goods. Three different molecular weights of 1800, 3000 and 7000g/mole PPO were added respectively. The results obtained in this study shows that the new PPO modified epoxy resin systems can be used as the laminate matrix materials for printed circuit board with their improved dielectric property. This was supported by Korea National University of Transportation in 2021. |
