Experimental investigation of bubble diameter, circulation velocity and gas hold-up in a pilot plant were carried out. The influence of liquid properties and geometry of bubble sparger on the values of those parameters was discussed. A correlation equation for specific interfacial area in an air-lift column has been proposed.
