The influence of macromolecular polymer additives on the cavitation phenomenon in the pipe constriction is studied. The experimental results and the computer analysis show that polymer additives significantly limit cavitation. This effect was demonstrated by studying the damping of a single cavitation bubble and the diminishing of the cavitation cloud.
