Determination of the effective diffusion coefficient in cylindrical pellets of adsorbent
The paper presents the method of determination of the effective diffusion coefficient, based on the analytical solution of the second Fick's law and the whole kinetic curve. The usefulness of the calculation method of the effective diffusion coefficient has been estimated on the basis of the adsorption kinetics measurements in the systems: activated carbon N-benzene-air and activated carbon N-butyl acetate-air.
