전기방사한 TiO2 나노섬유의 광촉매 특성 연구
STUDIES ON PHOTOCATALYTIC PROPERTY OF ELECTROSPUN TiO2 NANOFIBERS
Polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) nanofibers containing TiO2 anatase nano particles, prepared from tetrabutyl titanate (Ti(OC4H9)4), were fabricated via an electrospinning method. These nanofibers were characterized by TGA-DTA, XRD and FE-SEM analysis. The electrospun nanofibers which contains only PVP is a wet fiber but the nanofibers in this study were so smooth and uniform. They were found to contain crystalline titanium oxide (TiO2) particles on the fibers walls after calcination at different temperatures in air. The photocatalytic property of electrospun TiO2/PVP nanofibers, were evaluated for the photodecomposition of methylene blue and E. coli bacteria.
