A composite which combines the hydrogen-storage capabilities of TiFeCr alloys with the selective absorption characteristics of mordenite zeolites (NaM) is reported. The new material even exhibits a higher hydrogen-storage capacity than the parent alloy and therefore could be of considerable technological interest.
