3D computer simulation for convection in liquid phase epitaxy of ternary alloys
Full scale computer simulation for liquid phase epitaxial (LPE) growth of ternary alloys has been performed to predict hydrodynamic stability threshold of the system. Calculations allowed to determine the range of operating parameters that provide diffusive mass transfer regimes. Comparison of 3D and 2D runs has been done. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V.
