A DISPERSION MODEL FOR GAS-LIQUID REACTORS IN COCURRENT FLOW BASED ON THE FILM THEORY
A design model for gas-liquid reactors is developed based on the film theory and under condition that the axial diffusion of the bulk phases are taken into account. An analytical solution of this system has been achieved for the case of cocurrent flow. The mass transfer degree, the reactant con version and the reactor capacity can be easily calculated by means of the analytical solutions. Therefore, this model can be used directly to design the gas-liquid reactors.
