A study was conducted in November 2000 for the U.S. Dept. of Interior, Minerals Management Service (MMS) to identify and review state-of-the-art technologies for removing large offshore platforms in deep water. Platforms emphasized in this report were in the U.S. Pacific Outer Continental Shelf Region (POCSR); comparisons were made with similar U.S. Gulf of Mexico (GOM) platforms.
