Vapor-Liquid Equilibrium Calculation of Four Binary Systems Containing Environmentally Acceptable Refrigerants
E-mail:
Isothermal vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE) data of four binary mixtures of HFC-32 (CH2F2) with HFC-125 (CHF2CF3), HFC-134a (CH2FCF3), HFC-143a (CH3CF3) and HFC-152a (CH3CHF2) were correlated with the three models, which were the NRTL model, Peng-Robinson equation of state incorporated with two respective mixing rules; the conventional quadratic mixing rule and the composition-dependent mixing rule. The Peng-Robinson equation of state replaced with composition-dependent mixing rule showed quite satisfactory results with experimental data in comparison with another models.
