고특성 등방성 Nd2Fe14B/에폭시 본드자석의 연구
A Study on the Isotropic Nd2fe14BEpoxy Bonded Magnets with high Characteristics

본 연구는 압축성형으로 제조되는 고특성 등방성 Nd2Fe14B/에폭시 본드자석을 개발하기 위하여 수행되었다. 본드자석의 자기특성은 본드자석의 밀도에 직접적으로 비례하였으며, 평균입도가 200 mm인 Nd2Fe14B 자성분말을 분쇄공정 없이 그대로 사용할 때 고특성을 나타내었다. 본드자석은 자성분말 기준으로 2.0 wt%의 에폭시 수지, 0.8 wt%의 실란 커플링제, 0.7 wt%의 고온 경화제를 첨가하고, 150 ℃/3시간의 경화조건에서 높은 특성을 나타내었다. 적정조건에서 제조된 고특성 본드자석은 6.1 g/cm3의 밀도, 7.1 kG의 잔류자속밀도, 9.7 MGOe의 최대자기에너지적, 그리고 17 kg/mm2의 압축강도를 나타내었다.
This study was investigated to fabricate the isotropic Nd2Fe14B/epoxy bonded magnets with high characteristics produced by compression molding. The magnetic characteristics of the bonded magnets were directly proportional to the density of the magnets and were enhanced by using raw Nd2Fe14B magnetic powders, having the mean particle size of 200 mm, without additional milling process. The high characteristics of the bonded magnets were achieved at the following conditions; epoxy resin of 2.0 wt%, silane coupling agent of 0.8 wt%, curing agent of 0.7 wt% on the base of magnetic powders, and curing condition of 150 ℃/3 hrs. The bonded magnets at the optimum conditions indicated the high characteristics such as the density of 6.1 g/cm3, the
remanent flux density of 7.1 kG, the maximum energy product of 9.7 MGOe, and the compressive strength of 17 kg/mm2.
