Observation of Cd26As74 and Zn32P68 by Atomic-Force Microscopy
Surface morphologies of amorphous Cd26As74 and Zn32P68 films obtained by vacuum thermal evaporation were studied by atomic force microscopy, The observed atomic force microscopy images shaw on the nanoscopic scale featureless regions for Cd59As41 and many particles with diameters 0.8-1.2 nm - of the same order of magnitude as the interparticle distance for Zn32P68. The surface structure of both investigated films is discussed in the light of the previous studies by transmission electron microscopy and X-ray scattering,
