Oxidative dehydrodisproportionation of ethylcyclohexane on modified forms of Y zeolite
A study has been made of the oxydehydrodisproportionation of ethylcyclohexane to xylene isomers in the presence of decationized zeolite NaY and its modified forms by mono- and multicomponent oxide systems. It has been established that disproportionation of ethylcyclohexane proceeds via intermediate stages of interaction of alicyclic radicals with the subsequent dehydrogenation of the formed dimethylcyclohexane isomers and their unsaturated analogues.
