PROBLEMS OF INHIBITING THE HIGH-TEMPERATURE OXIDATION OF HYDROCARBONS
Problems of inhibiting the high-temperature oxidation of hydrocarbon materials are examined. For the case of dialkyldithiocarbamine complexes of metals, their high anti-oxidative effect at elevated temperatures is shown, and certain relationships governing inhibited oxidation are given. The probable mechanism of this process is proposed. The future prospects for developing investigations in this direction are discussed.
