CATION-RADICAL MECHANISMS OF CATALYTIC HYDROCARBON CONVERSIONS - EFFECT OF RADICAL INITIATORS AND INHIBITORS
An investigation has been made of the effect of radical initiators and inhibitors on the nature of alkane conversion on acid catalysts. The radicals make it possible, on the one hand, to control process selectivity, and, on the other, to reveal the specific effects of cation-radical mechanisms of cracking as alternatives to ionic models.
