The effect of hygroscopic and transient moisture contents in coals from Upper Silesian Coal Basin on their net caloric value
Two-hundred-fourteen bituminous coal samples (grain diam. below 3 mm) from 11 Polish mines were studied for moisture and C contents and caloric values according to resp. stds. The caloric value increased with increasing C and with decreasing moisture contents.
