Rationalization of the material consumption in a chemical-technological process of forming
A process for cold-drawing steel tubes was evaluated by using an original MiniMax method based on the "feedback control". High mech. strength and dimensional tolerance of the produced tubes were key assumptions for the study. The phys. and chem. characteristics of the raw material were taken into consideration. The possibility of material saving and achieving economic benefits was confirmed.
