High absorptive resin has large water holding capacity for once it has absorbed. In this study, high absorptive resin was blended with CR(chloroprene rubber) and EPDM(ethylene-propylene diene monomer), respectively, and observed the charge of physical properties. And by measuring the swelling percent, confirmed that CR, blended with high adsorbent polymer, has bigger swelling percent than EPDM by 9 times. Therefore it was found that the blend of high absorptive resin with CR or EPDM can be applied to various fields.
