Pyrolysis GC/MS technique was empolyed for quantitative analysis of epoxy molding compound. Cured samples of known composition were analyzed, and the intensity of the characteristic peak of each component was correlated with the concentration. The concentration ratio of base resin and hardner vs. the corresponding peak intensity ratio showed linear correlation at a fixed acceleration concentration.
