Push-Pull Bacteriochlorin: Panchromatic Sensitizer for Dye-sensitized Solar Cell
A chemically stable push pull bacteriochlorin has been synthesized for the first time as a panchromatic sensitizer for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). The DSSC based on the bacteriochlorin sensitizer demonstrated the photocurrent generation beyond the wavelength of 800nm, whereas a power conversion efficiency of the DSSC was found to be 2.7%.
