Adsorption methods are widely used and are the most effective process for separation of noble metal ions from aqueous solution. In this study, a new functional resin deivative with a heterocyclic side chain was synthesized by amination of macroporous polystyrene-co-divinylbenzene resin with phenylenediamine. Adsorption behaviors of palladium in nitric acid medium were investigated experimentally using this anion exchanger.
