Microstructure evolution of hot rolled W sheets after different heat treatments
Tungsten sheets hot rolled at two different final temperatures have undergone different heat treatments from stress relieving to secondary recrystallization conditions. The microstructure and texture resulting from the thermo-mechanical treatment have been observed by various metallographic means. Recrystallization is achieved with difficulty till we reach very high temperatures, or if final rolling temperature is low.
