Behavior of hydrogen in superheated aluminum and its alloys melt
The quantitative relationship between the hydrogen content and the superheated temperature of the aluminum and its alloys melt has been investigated by using HYSCAN II. It is found that the hydrogen content in aluminum and its alloys melt can be controlled by thermal-rate treatment technology. The experiment results indicated that the hydrogen content in aluminum and its alloys melt increases with increasing temperature and decreases with decreasing temperature under certain superheated temperature. The hydrogen in different existences in aluminum melt has different reversibility. The hydrogen content can be greatly reduced in superheated aluminum and its alloys melt by thermal-rate treatment technology.
