Fatigue mechanisms of a model A1Si7Mg0,3 cast aluminum alloy
The fatigue micromechanisms of a model AlSi7Mg0.3 cast aluminum alloy are experimentally studied and interpreted. The influence of silicon particles and grain boundaries on the fatigue life is shown. A new comprehensive approach of the fatigue life of aluminum cast alloys is given.
