Rheological studies on pastes and dry pigments-dyed plastisols
The PVC plastisols were coloured with dry pigments and pigment pastes and studied for rheolog. behaviour. Pseudoplasticity factor, max. viscosity and activation energy of viscous flow were detd. The increasing amount and sp. surface of pigment and addn. of surfactants resulted in an increase in pseudoplasticity factor, viscous How activation energy and max. viscosity.
