Studies on dyeing the polyphase aqueous disperse systems with dry pigments
Aq. emulsions of xylene and water-disperse systems of Me methacrylate-Bu acrylate-methacrylic acid and Bu methacrylate-methacrylamide copolymers in xylene soln. were stabilized with 6 non-ionic and anionic surfactants and dyed with 5 dry org. pigments. The quantity and type of phases in the state of sedimentation equil. as well as dispergation effficiency and limiting viscosity nos. were detd. The Blue B had the lowest covering power but showed the highest dispersability in presence of sulfosuccinate surfactant and was recommended for dying the studied systems.
