Zeolite catalysts modified with zirconium and sulfur compounds in the conversion of dimethyl ether to lower olefins
The effect of zirconium addition to zeolite-containing catalysts for dimethyl ether conversion to lower olefins has been studied. The effect of the nature of the zirconium compound on the catalytic properties of a zeolite catalyst has been analyzed, and a method for generating new acid sites through the sulfation of a Zr-containing zeolite matrix has been developed. Using physicochemical methods, it has been shown that the processing of a zeolite with zirconium and sulfur compounds does not lead to the degradation of its structure and a change in the adsorption volume.
