Electrophile-catalyzed oligomerization of piperylene
The kinetic parameters of piperylene cationic oligomerization were examined for a series of electrophilic catalysts based on aluminum and titanium compounds. The molecular characteristics of the obtained oligopiperylene are presented. The high performance of AlCl3.O(C6H5)(2) in the cationic oligomcrization of piperylene makes it possible to improve the process of manufacturing liquid oligopiperylene rubber.
