A model fixed-bed reactor for the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis with dilute syngas
An original model is proposed for an industrial fixed-bed Fischer-Tropsch reactor. The specific features of the thermal modes of the process and the character of its variation depending of the synthesis conditions and geometric dimensions of the reactor tube were studied with this model. The possibilities arising in the case of using the nitrogen-free synthesis gas and the gas substantially diluted with nitrogen were analyzed.
