Optimal heating of thick-walled pressure components of steam boilers
A stable method of solving inverse heat conduction problems encountered in optimal heating and cooling pressure components of steam boilers is presented. The optimal temperatures changes were calculated using discrete form of Duhamel's integral in conjunction with future time steps. During optimal heating or cooling the equivalent stresses due to thermal and pressure loading do not exceed the allowable stress. An example illustrating the application of the developed method is presented.
