3-alkylamino-2-hydroxypropyl chloride as a key intermediate for preparation of quarternary ammonium salts as eco-friendly surfactant |
| 초록 |
Monoethanolamine was treated with two equivalent of epichlorohydrin at low temperature to provide N,N-di(3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl) amine derivative, which was further reacted with tertiary amines with long alkyl chain to afford corresponding quarteranary ammonium salts. The reaction products were unambiguously characterized via spectroscopic methods including 2D NMR spectroscopy. These salts can serve as eco-friendly surfactants. |
