Increases in the price of finite natural resource coupled with increasing awareness of renewable source of energy such as solar cells. Especially, Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSCs) have received many attentions because of its low-cost and high efficiency. In this study, we used gold nanoparticles into the DSSCs PEG electrolyte. It was necessary to modify surface of Gold nanoparticles in order to get hydrophilic surface and disperse in the PEG electrolyte well. And we found that this polymer-metal hybrid electrolyte was increased current and efficiency of DSSCs. To investigate the reason of efficiency increaseing, we characterized electrolyte with UV-Vis. and Raman spectroscopic methods. |
