In this study, Polyketone solutions were made by a metal salt solvent (Calcium chloride , Lithium chloride, Zinc chloride). This solutions and 4-vinylbenzyl chloride solutions were irradiated by Co60 γ-ray radiation. Then the anion exchange membranes were synthesized by Trimethylamine solutions completely. Degree of grafting was increased with increasing the total dose and 4-vinylbenzyl chloride (VBC). The ion exchange capacity of Polyketone-g-vinylbenzyl chloride (PoK-g-VBC) was increased by increasing VBC mole ratio. Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy was performed to elucidate the molecular structure. The water uptake (W.U), ion exchange capacity (IEC) and electrical resistance (E.R) of the membrane were measured using a weight method, titration, and LCR meter, respectively. |
