| 제목 | A simple process for an analgesic drug |
| 초록 | In the pharmaceutical market, acetaminophen shares large market as an efficient analgesic drug or as an ingredient in cold treatment. That is possible by virtue of its little side effects compared to other analgesic drugs. The synthetic process for the safe analgesic drug, acetaminophen, includes harsh reaction conditions for introducing an acetamido functional group, and the purification steps for isolating the desired regioisomers. In this presentation, a simple two-step process has been applied for acetaminophen production without the formation of the undesired regioisomers. Each of the steps, moreover, proceeds to introduce the each of the acetaminophen functional groups, the acetamido and the hydroxyl groups, under the metal catalyzed reaction conditions that are milder than the present acetaminophen production process. |
