The tyrosine-based peptides derivatives have many advantages such as biocompatible, nontoxic, transparent and flexible properties. However, it has restriction on applying to electronic devices due to poor conducting properties. Recently, Proton-Coupled Electron Transfer (PCET) of tyrosine has been reported. For enhancing conductivity, we introduce conductive polymers, especially poly-aniline(PANI), poly-pyrrole(PPY), with tyrosine-based peptides. And finally we can get transparent, conductive peptide structures. These nano-composites can be synthesized easily in mild conditions and we eagerly anticipate the day we can apply this tyrosine-based peptide conductive film to fields of electronics and biomaterials. |
