Graphene was synthesized by chemical vapor deposition on copper substrate, using liquid sources at low temperature. Xylene, toluene and benzene were used as carbon sources instead of hydrocarbon gases, such as methane, ethylene and acetylene. Pyridine was used as a nitrogen dopant. The structural and electrical features of N-doped graphene were obtained by the control of the amount of liquid carbon sources and growth temperature. The resulted graphenes were analyzed using transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy and sheet resistance measuring instruments. |
