Metal-coated polymer particles have received extensive interests in the field of diagnostic, catalysis, enzyme carriers and electronic packing technologies. In this study, micro monodisperse poly(vinyl amine) (PVAm) hollow particles were simply synthesized and introduced Ag onto the PVAm hollow particles using their amine groups. The shape and morphology of PVAm/Ag hollow particles were observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The surface and thermal property of composite particles was examined using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), respectively. |
