To alleviate energy shortage and accompanying environmental crisis, enormous efforts have been devoted to exploiting clean and renewable energy. In this work, ternary catalyst ZnIn2S4-rGO-SnS2 prepared simple hydrothermal method. The prepared ZnIn2S4-rGO-SnS2 photocatalyst system has enhanced photocatalytic H2 production than that of pure and binary catalyst under visible light illumination. The enhanced hydrogen performance of the ZnIn2S4-rGO-SnS2 catalyst originates from the synergetic effect of rGO as the electron transfer medium, which supported by photocurrent density, photoluminescence measurement and reduced recombination performance among the excited electron and holes pairs and fast electron transfer in the ternary composite. The photocatalytic hydrogen evolution mechanism was discussed. |
