There have been many efforts to increase the efficiency of solar cells, which is significantly affected by the efficiency of charge separation and its collection at electrodes. This study is focusing on the electrode structures to enhance the electron collecting efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cells by using carbon nanotube (CNT). The representive cells can be noticed as Pt/Ruthenium dye+TiO2/CNT. The electrodes were prepared electrostatically between the cationically coated ITO and the anionically dispersed CNT. TiO2 was coated onto the CNT coated ITO and dye was impregnated. Photovoltaic characteristics were analyzed in the view of nanosized morphology, interface contact defects and intrinsic performance of components. |
