Various composition have been applied to improve the capacity of LIBs. Precursor of Cathode Active Material is composed of Ni, Co, Mn. Among them Co was required for the layered structure and structural stability. However, due to its toxicity characteristics and limited reserves, it is intended to reduce the proportion of Co. The precursors were heat treated with a different LiOH fraction. These active materials were observed with XRD, SEM and the charge/discharge test was conducted to see stable cycling characteristics and high voltage safety. |
