Recently, ionic polymer-metal composite (IPMC) is highlighted as biomimetic actuator due to high actuation performance and low input voltage, however, because of the limitation in reprocessability of ion-exchange membrane (commercial Nafion), it has problems in controlling membrane properties which is critical in governing actuation performance. In this study, we prepared ion exchange membrane based on crosslinked poly(ether ether ketone) to enhance its mechanical property, which cannot be controlled in commercial Nafion membrane. The crosslinking procedure was done with different crosslinkers to ensure its flexibility, and functionality as well. The resulting data are to be presented. |
