In vascular disease, inserted materials such as stent have problem because of protein absorption on the surface of stent. Poly (ε-caprolactone) - poly (ethylene glycol-(amine)2) [PCL-PEG] block copolymer was used for electrospining by different ratio of PCL-PEG(amine)2 from 0% to 100% mixed with PCL. And Pluronic F127 was conjugated with on electrospun nanofiber [PCL/PCL-PEG-F127] as molar ratio 1:1. F127 conjugation was confirmed by contact angle that PCL/PCL-PEG-F127 angle was smaller than PCL/PCL-PEG nanofiber (control). 1H NMR showed PEO peak at 3.4 ppm in PCL/PCL-PEG-F127, which is not detected control. mPEG-FITC micelle was loaded on nanofiber at 4°C and 37°C to prove F127 effect to control drug release in PBS at 37°C. As the result, more than 5% (w/w) of drug was released out from PCL/PCL-PEG-F127 compared with control for 5days so that F127 conjugated on the surface of nanofiber enhanced sustained drug release. |
