Organic semiconductors have been studied extensively with regards to their charge transport ability and have recently been demonstrated to be a viable option for large-area, commercial electronic devices and photonics. Organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) using organic semiconductors are widely used as small size displays and are under development for large size television because of their advantages in emission with a wide viewing angle and color gamut.
