제목 | Microstructure and Properties of Ultra Fine TiC-Based Hard Materials Fabricated by a High Frequency Induction Heated Sintering |
초록 | Abstract The densification of nano structured TiC-10vol.% binder(Nicrobraz 30, 150 and LC) materials was accomplished within 2 min at 1250℃ by a high-frequency induction heated sintering(HFIHS) using high-energy ball milled TiC powder with binder. Grain growth can be prevented during HFIHS at high temperature. Highly dense TiC-binder(Nicrobraz 30, 150 and LC) composites with a relative density of up 98% were obtained by HFIHS under 80MPa. The average grain size of TiC in the TiC-10 vol.% Nicrobraz 30 composite was approximately 61nm. The hardness and fracture toughness of the sintered TiC-10vol% Nicrobraz 30 composites produced by HFIHS were 2018.6kg/mm2 and 7.46MPa∙m1/2. |
