제목 Desalination effect of capacitive deionization with graphite composite electrodes
초록 Capacitive deionization(CDI) is an alternative process to remove ions from the brackish water by taking advantage of the excess ions adsorbed in the electrical double layer region at an electrode-solution interface when the electrode is electrically charged.In this work, electrosorptive deionization electrodes are compared with graphiteelectrode and graphite electrode coated titanium oxide. The electrochemical properties of the prepared electrodes were investigated to compare physical characterization of the electrode and capacitance byCV and charge discharge test. Based on the results, ion removal rate of graphite electrode coated titanium oxide is higher than that of graphite electrode.
