제목 Solution-based source/drain electrodes for organic field-effect transistor: interface engineering
초록 To realize cheap disposable electronic products, organic materials for organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) must be processable in solution and at low temperatures. Intensive studies performed on solution-processable organic semiconductors have made it possible to achieve device performances comparable to amorphous-silicon transistors. Source/drain electrodes used in OFETs also play important roles in device performance. Especially, the surface characteristics such as work function, roughness, and surface energy determine contact resistance between electrodes and organic semiconductors: The contact resistance depends on the different of work function between electrode and organic semiconductor and the morphologies of organic semiconductor. In this presentation, we discuss how the surface characteristics affect device performance in OFETs and introduce new solution processable multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWNT)/polymer nanocomposite source/drain electrodes for OFETs.
