제목 TiO2 Conjugated Functionalized Silica Polymer Dots for Light-Triggered Antifouling Surfaces Application.
초록 A polymer dots-based coated surface with adjustable hydrophilicity−hydrophobicity due to the photocatalytic effect of TiO2 is successfully obtained. The functionalized silica polymer dots (siPDs) are carbonized from perfluorinated silica-conjugated polydopamine polymer. Then, the TiO2 was immobilized on the surface of polymer dots, achieving a photocatalyst at the visible light wavelength range (TiO2-siPD). By irradiating with either UV light or visible light, the coated substrate, which is a hydrophobic surface, becomes hydrophilic, owing to the creation of OH radical during photocatalysis. The shifting in affinity affected the antifouling properties of the surface, displaying high adhesion of cells during hydrophobic and no attached cells at hydrophilic state. In the end, this study provides information for the fabrication of photocatalytic surfaces with affinity transition during light-irradiation. This work was supported by the Korea National University of Transportation in 2021.
