Preparation and characterization of gelatin coated poly(L-lactide-co-D,L-lactide) bone scaffolds |
초록 |
Surface modification of a biodegradable polymer scaffold, poly(L-lactide-co-D,L-lactide) (PLLA) foam was carried out by coating of PLLA foam with gelatin and crosslinking using gamma irradiation. The coating yield increased with the increase of gamma absorbed dose. Swelling experiments revealed a crosslinked structure in the coated scaffolds. Localization of gelatin using immunostaining indicated the coated gelatin on the coated PLLA, confirming that the coated gelatin in the PLLA was still biologically active. The rat calvarial bone cell was seeded and cultured in the prepared scaffolds. The cultured scaffolds were stained with H&E. |
