Electrical Property and Durability of CNT/PVDF/CNT Composites Actuator by Electrospinning Method |

Interfacial durability of CNT/PVDF/CNT composites were investigated for sensor and actuator applications. Three layers specimen with CNT/PVDF/CNT was fabricated using the electrospinning method. CNT/PVDF/CNT composites exhibited lower electrical resistivity due to inherent electrical property. interfacial durability of CNT/PVDF/CNT composites was good for actuator application. With static contact angle measurement, work of adhesion between CNT and PVDF were obtained to verify the correlation between the durability and interfacial adhesion. The optimum actuation performance of CNT/PVDF specimen was measured by the displacement change using laser displacement sensor. CNT/PVDF composites exhibited better performance as sensor and actuator, because of better nanostructures and inherent electrical properties.
